About our studio
Engaging Communities through Music Education and Performance
The studio was founded in 2013 as Syntonique Studio in the South of Market neighborhood of San Francisco, California. The studio directly served those in our neighborhood, Mission Bay, Potrero Hill, Hayes Valley, and those working in FiDi.
In 2021, we rebranded as Opus38 Studio. The number 38 was chosen as the latitude of San Francisco. Our growth reflects the city as San Francisco continues to evolve. We are exploring new and innovative ways to learn music together, utilizing technology to stay connected. The pandemic actually helped us open up the possibilities of connecting with musicians on a global scale.
We have now taught students not only in the Bay Area, but all over the United States, into Canada, Asia, and even the Middle East.
We aim to create a respite for our students here at Opus 38 Studio within the fast paced metropolitan life. We want to focus on the important things in life- things that bring us joy by honing in on our creativity and connecting with our fellow community. Our core goal is to promote the arts in our innovative city by making music with you.
